I may not regard myself as a fashionista, but I can say I have some style. Having said that, what we do here at Skylab Designs is somewhat similar to creativity one has to have as a hair stylist. Molding, shaping, cutting, twisting are just a few of the miraculous things beauty shops endure everyday to make their clients look there best. I admire that.
So when we were asked to create a flyer that told the story of natural beauty and hair design excellence, we had to knock it out the park. Any successful salon will tell you that image is everything, and they are right. What you choose to display to a potential client is critical in drumming up new business as well as keeping your existing ones.
Our goal was to combine the art and skill of the stylist, with the beauty of nature. To present a refreshing and tranquil feeling when you eyes fall upon this ad. It’s so soothing, you almost sense the fresh green apple color. But the most important thing of all, the SIMPLICITY. It speaks volumes. The saying, “Sometimes Less Is More”, is certainly true when applied here.
